Know Your Worker Rights Under the OSHA Act of 1970

You do not need to work under unsafe conditions. You do not need to be forced to put your own life in danger of serious injury or death. You have a right to come home to your families every day after work.

You have a right to
 refuse to work where there is emminent risk of injury or loss of life. You have a right to ask your employer to correct unsafe conditions, to fix violations, to ameliorate hazards.

You have a right to file complaints with OSHA.You have a right to be involved in an OSHA inspection. You have a right to get information from your employer. You have a right to view the OSHA inspection results.

You have the right to a safe workplace. OSHA requires employers to provide a workplace that is free of serious recognized hazards and in compliance with OSHA standards ...
